SMCC April Milestones!

Saturday 10 April

Mike Rowley (92) recorded highest score for the 1st X1 v Harborne previously Michael Frost (55) on 5 September 1999. It was his 24th half century and highest score for the 1st X1.

Zak Sinkinson made his club debut against former team Harborne.

Saturday 17 April

George Gray (83*) recorded highest score for the 1st X1 at Barby previously Alex Roslyn (57) on 3 May 2014.

James Roslyn (2) batting at Barby reached 5000 runs in his 272nd innings for the club.

Isaac Mohammed (12) made his club debut for the 2nd X1 at home to Water Orton and top scored with 36 in a five wicket success.

Nigel Goodger became the 17th player to claim a five wicket haul for the 3rd X1 with his 5/30 at home to Knowle Village and superseded the 5/31 taken against the same opponents by Jason Dallow on 27 July 2013.

Lee Gorton struck 93 and highest score at home to Knowle Village 3rd X1 eclipsing the 67 made by Tom Blake on 4 June 2017.

Sunday 18 April

Alex Luckett and Ty Jayawardane made their club debuts for the 1st X1 at home to Warwick.

Saturday 24 April

Zak Sinkinson 3/21 for the 2nd X1 at Solihull Blossomfield returned his best figures for the club

Daanish Mehmood 5/17 produced the best bowling figures for the 3rd X1 against Knowle Village just a week after Nigel Goodger.

John Stanley (23*) reached 4000 club runs with his first run against Knowle Village.
